    Default Fog spells

Looking for different fog spels for a 3.p game. Gonna be stealthy, cast fog spells and pit traps. I found one that makes anyone caught inside makes them take d8 dex damage. Looking for any unusual ones.
    Thanks

    2nd Level
Fog Cloud: Fog obscures vision. (Player's Handbook)
Gnome Blight: Cloud of itchy debilitating pollen sickens living creatures. (Races of the Dragon)
Obscuring Snow: Obscures sight in a 30-ft. radius around the caster. (Frostburn)

    3rd Level
Arctic Haze: Fog obscures vision and deals 4 cold damage/round. (Frostburn)
Caustic Smoke: Cloud deals 1d6 acid damage/round, blinds creatures. (Complete Mage)

    4th Level
Solid Fog: Blocks vision and slows movement. (Player's Handbook)

    5th Level
Cloudkill: Kills 3 HD or less; 4-6 HD save or die; 6+ HD take Con damage. (Player's Handbook)

You may find Cloud Cloak to your liking. Magic item that gran unobscured vision through any kind of fog and mist. Unique in its way, no other magical effect penetrates fog. So it would definitely grant combat advantage against any foe that could not get rid of your fog some way or another.
a typical Dark Wizard hunter would die, on average, eight and a half times along the way to becoming ‘paranoid’.

    1st Level:
Wall of Smoke (SpC): 10' thick "wall" and Fort save or Nauseated for a round.

    2nd Level:
Could of Bewilderment (SpC): 10' spread and Fort save or Nauseated while inside +1d4 rounds after leaving.

"Nauseated creatures are unable to attack, cast spells, concentrate on spells, or do anything else requiring attention. The only action such a character can take is a single move action per turn."

Only Pathfinder? The two types of Wall of Sand are awesome from 3.5

One is a wall, the other is a fog cloud but different that has no save and restricts movement in a different way than Solid Fog and is also available to Clerics not just Wizards. Also a Druid spell but then it is 5th Level not 4th.

Holy crap guys thank you! Also, it's basically anything from 3.0 to pf. In 30 years I've never really played a caster... So this is gonna be interesting

You may also want to look into Pathfinder's fogcutting lenses. They aren't as powerful as the cloud cloak posted earlier, but they cost less than a third as much and so make a good budget option.

The L4 Wall of Sand deafens, blinds, mutes, suffocates, impedes movement, eliminates ranged attacks, and impedes nonverbal spells.

Snowsight works very well with obscuring snow.
Forcecage (with solid walls) can keep enemies trapped within your clouds.

    1st Level
Fetid Breath: creatures who succumb to its effects are still nauseated for 1d4+1 rounds after leaving the area of the cone. (Ghostwalk)

    2nd Level
Cloud of Bewilderment: Any living creature in the area becomes nauseated. This condition lasts as long as the creature is in the cloud and for 1d4+1 rounds after it leaves. (Spell Compendium)
Pyrotechnics: (Smoke Cloud version) All take -4 penalties to Strength and Dexterity (Fortitude negates). lasts for 1d4+1 rounds after the cloud dissipates or after the creature leaves. (Player's Handbook)

    3rd Level
Laogzed's Breath: As stinking cloud, except that the nauseating vapors persist for 10 rounds. (Serpent Kingdoms/Savage Species)

    4th Level
Lightning Fog: obscures all sight, deals 1d4 points of electricity damage plus 1 point per caster level (maximum +15) to everything within the cloud on your turn each round. (Shining South)
Radiant Fog: As solid fog, Creatures within the cloud must make successful Fortitude saves or be dazzled, taking a -1 penalty on attack rolls for as long as they remain in the cloud and for 1 minute afterward. (Book of Exalted Deeds)

    6th Level
Spore Cloak: Anyone who passes through the cloud of yellow mold spores must make a Fortitude saving throw or suffer 1d6 points of temporary Constitution damage; another Fortitude saving throw is required 1 minute later to avoid taking 2d6 points of temporary Constitution damage. (Races of Faerun)

Yep it also takes a full round action to escape even if victory outside the sand is only 5 feet away. Thus it trades actions for actions (plus a spell slot.)

Oh yeah since it is Shapable with the (S) label you can make it thicker in exchange for making it less long. This is a big deal if we are talking low or medium strength enemies, so thick they suffocate to death with no save, and if they are high strength they still are subject to a maze like effect giving your allies time to kill everything else in the encounter while they are wasting at least 1 round maybe more escaping.

Well, depends on how fog-relatd you'd like it to be, there are some corner cases, that may not be the traditional "creates sight blocking gas that may have other effects". Anyway, here's some that haven't been mentioned unless I missed them:

Breath of the Jungle (Drd1) SC
    Gaseous Form (BRd 3, Sor/Wiz 3) PHB
    Kelgore's Grave Mist (Sor/Wiz2) PHB2
    Magic Miasma (Sor/Wiz 9) SC
    Mind Fog (Brd 5, Sor/Wiz 5) PHB
    Smoke Ladder (Wu-Jen 1) CAr
    Steam Breath (We-Jen 3) CAr
Wind Walk (Clr 6, Drd 7) PHB
