That feel when you start thinking about an arc from a manga and... Can't tell if the author was deliberately referencing Jojo or not.

Yes By the time you die you should be more bone than meat.

If you kill someone in an honorable battle, harvest their bones to gain their power.

If you're lucky, eventually you'll reach a critical mass of bones, they'll collapse together into a bone egg, and then you'll hatch into a bone dragon.

I'd go for the first or third from the left, depending on how much contrast you want. I'd avoid the white one as I feel it clashes too much.

The orange one actually looks most appropriate because it matches the "skin" colour, which is just what regular human fingernails do. Other than that, though, I would only say, definitely not the white one, it looks bad.

Had my first go on a Spectrum today, played a lot of Jet Set Willy. Strangely despite being incredibly difficult the games felt more accessible, actually ability at the games we played had no correlation with manual dexterity.

It's made me interested in getting a C64 (maxi) and playing more old games.

So anyway. My older brother is going to cook a huge Thanksgiving dinner for just the two of us. Trust me the list is long:

    Turkey
    Stuffing
    Cranberry Sauce
    Yams
    Mac & Cheese
    Rice
    Potato Salad
    Collard Greens
    Cornbread
    Hams
    Ribs
    Chicken
    Meatloaf
    Potato Pie
    Apple Pie
    Pumpkin Pie
    Chocolate Cake
    Sweet Peas
    Black Eyed Beans
    Meatballs
    Chicken

I'm not making this stuff up. It's a long list.

Thanks for the input (for what it's worth, the "white" one is just an unpainted acrylic nail that I attached to try out a couple of different adhesives).

I'm torn between the pinkie and middle finger colours myself, so it's nice to have some validation. I suppose it boils down to if I want to give the character more of a cute vibe or a spooky vibe (both fit her; she's an obnoxiously optimistic Phantom based loosely on Samus Aran).

If it is down to those two, I would vote the middle finger if you want a more natural look. It feels more like what the nail could be, but I like the black because the contrast gives it a somewhat claw feel.

But of course I am also seeing it out of context to the rest of the costume. The colors of the rest of the look could impact the nail color that fits best. Just my opinion of course.

Is it that you are both very heavy eaters, that you are willing to eat leftovers for a couple of weeks, or what? I'll be eating Thanksgiving with my brother, and the plan is to roast a single chicken, plus cook assorted vegetables.

Yeah, a single chicken and ten sausages, plus accoutrements, is enough for five people.

Even at Christmas (the holiday with the big meal here) I've still never seen more than two meat dishes (plus a vegetarian option), and even then there's normally leftovers. Although admittedly it's also more common in my experience to leave the ham for boxing day.

My family usually makes a lot of food and then my aunt takes most of it when she leaves.

Makes my mom cook and then leaves with most of the food.

Mom told her we had a 17 pound Turkey this year and my aunt is like "do you think that enough? We should get another turkey" and my mom's just "no that's plenty, you just can't take half of it home with you this year."

Honestly, I don't much care for the holidays. I end up spending most of the day cooped up in my room becuase there are too damn many people in the house and for a week leading up to it the fridge is full but we can't eat any of it.

17 pounds is over seven and a half kilos. Unless you have more than eight people surely there would be leftovers anyway.

Plus surely it's only polite to let the host keep the leftovers?

And I feel you. I don't normally have it that bad, but I just loathe big get togethers.

    Stone soup it is then!

Alternatively, you could brain an animal with it. And then again. And again. So you have infinity turkeys really.

So, is that a story about how coming together and sharing creates more than you had to begin with, or a story about someone conning an entire village out of more food than he'd initially have taken in response to poor hospitality from the locals.(and, considering that everyone had enough to share when they thought they were profiting, lies regarding the same)

In Cyberpunk 2077, it is literally a crime to put pineapple on pizza. There's a wanted poster and someone has a bounty on his head for it.

Despite this, pineapple and "tofu'd tuna" pizza is a common consumable item.
