Starting up a new scenario for my turn in the DM chair. I'm an old hand at learning new systems, and have been looking for a good space opera game since the old TSR Buck Rogers modules.

My group has never tried an OSR approach, and I want to give them their first taste in the IP. The setting is lethal but rewards clever planning, and I want to encourage that.

For an OSR approach, if you've run it before, what house rules would you suggest in The Expanse? What changes just make it work better, particularly space engagements?
