Yeah I'm not gonna vote. Mostly because I'm to unsure of who might be a wolf. But also because Elena raises a good point.

Also I'm not asking for reads lists. Or town lists.

I'm asking "Who would you sus the absolute MOST right now. Give me two names."

    - - - Updated - - -

If people don't want to vote during the night that's up to them.

I'm just providing town an option to participate in my fun.

My thoughts exactly. If anything, this would make you (Bladescape) my #1 pick, but then I actually expected Caoimhin to be town, so...

Wolves, as a whole, often have a good idea of the consensus of thread prior to night.

I will also add that in other communities, banning talking at night tended to make the game slightly more wolf-sided. Which suggests talking at night to be a town advantage.

I can tell you right now that if I was wolf I would 100% be killing Snow or if I was going to dodge potential protectives it would be ... probably Taff? Got a few options for second kill option actually.
Eh. In other circumstances I might see your point, but we just got a mafia flip with a bunch of discussion surrounding it. And even many of the people voting Cao weren't super certain. I expect a lot of the current reads are different, or at least more fleshed out, compared to the discussion before the flip.

I do agree that asking for wolf reads is less suspicious than asking for town reads.

Read everything. Don’t have any particularly strong wolfreads, so I’ll try and form a POE.

Fext can be town, or “not wolf or SK” at least.

Meta, Elenna and Batcathat are cleared from their Caoimhin votes.

Moonfly I’m pretty sure is town.

Rogan doesn’t look great from this, surface-level at least, but I still think my initial townread is worth something and I’m pretty confident I’ll figure it out if he’s a wolf.

    AvatarVecna/Captain Cap/Supagoof/gac3/Book Wombat/Xihirli/bladescape/Taffamai

All wolves in that group? Yeah, that feels okay. I probably need to do some rereading to narrow that down further. I’ll work on that later on today, or tomorrow if I’m still alive.

    - - - Updated - - -

Xihirli can be one of my names, actually. My initial wolfread on Caoimhin was based on “they could be partners with one of Rogan/Xihirli” and I still townlean Rogan so that implies Xihirli wolf. iirc her only contribution to the me/Caoimhin debate was a soft defence of me as my wagon was getting going.

    Don't trust my reads!

(Seriously, though. My gamestate reads may be decent but I tend to find the wrong wolf within the category I correctly realise should contain a wolf.)

Lol at the second part, but also humour to deflect from an accusation is something I've seen you do as a wolf.

Incidentally, townleans on AV and Taffamai for their Caoimhin votes. There was still a realistic chance I'd die when Taffamai voted, and I wouldn't have bussed in that position. Because there's a lot of townies who are getting towncred from the flip as well, such that the POE would be uncomfortably narrow for wolves.

As for AV... well, yes, they totally would bus a partner. But bussing a partner by just making an RVS vote and leaving it there? That's not the route I'd expect them to take. I'd expect more of an attempt to gain cred for the bus from wolf!AV.

So yeah, I've reached "if there was a bus it was probably Book Wombat". Though I'm not convinced there was.

That leaves Xihirli/BW/gac3/Captain Cap/bladescape/Supagoof to look over in more detail. I'll do a Caoimhin ISO to see who looks partner-y.

    1. If there's a seer, check AV. I don't trust 'em and their powers sound weird.
    2. If there are two seers (or the like), check Fext too. The overlap is giving me some pause.
    3. I don't like Xihirli's reluctance to comment on her night kill post, but she's a wildcard. We can deal with her later.
    4. I don't see what Bladescape's game is. If he's town, the dogs know, so he mostly just confuses us.
    5. Rogan owes us a very good explanation (he defended Caoimhin and the Cape might have defended him early on). I'd also like to hear moonfly's reasoning for defending CTC, for that matter. But those can wait 'till daytime rolls around.

Also, am I even in this game anymore? No one suspects me of anything and only Snow is on the record that she does not suspect me of anything.

My townlean on Taffamai has become stronger. I really liked the post where she voted for Caoimhin. The tie thing seems like something town are much more likely to fix on than wolves. In fact I think I can remove her from my POE.

Captain Cap... Captain Cap is my confused read rn. My initial reaction to his vote for me was to hard wolfread it, and even having toned down the OMGUS and "but the thought process makes no sense!" I still find it mildly wolfy. But the fact that Caoimhin voted him in the way they did makes me think they're unlikely to be partners.

*incoherent mumbling* maybe town but I don't feel comfortable removing him from my POE.

Xihirli I mentioned earlier, but I think I can get a better read on her later on, I've had this idea about how she reacts to pressure as a wolf for a while. Then again, this is Xihirli I'm talking about. Trying to meta-read her is doomed to failure.

Supagoof hasn't posted. Solidly null, needless to say.

Book Wombat is Book Wombat. I kind of felt Caoimhin's treatment of him was unlikely to be partnered, but I'm now slightly reconsidering it - it could be that Cao thought "welp, I'm screwed, I'll vote and suspect my partner so he looks good after I flip".

gac3 and bladescape I need to look over again.

    (Yes, Meta, you exist.)

Since you're here, why did you say bladescape and Rogan "felt the same"? Was it meant to be in terms of their positioning on me/Cao yesterday.

I'm going to save gac3/bladescape for when I'm not phoneposting.

I don't specifically remember you saying that, bladescape, but it sounds like something you would have said. Now I need to go reread PJ wolfchat!
I mean, I don't remember if I exactly said that but it's something I would say because it's true lmao.

Related to my powers, who does town think the next wolf is?

Please vote for who you think wolves are with BOLD and Purple.

    Like This.
Since my instincts are usually wrong in this game, I'm gonna go against them and say Rogan (might change after I have time to check out his interactions with Cao). Even less ideas for a second name, I'll get back to you on that.

This post is giving me some bad vibes. It could be a wolf, trying to direct towns attention to save targets. AV, Fext and to a lesser degree blades and myself. Also a partly defense of Xi.

Regarding point 5: I explained my reasons already. They didn't change by being wrong. That's all.

The last part feels a bit townie. As a wolf, I would not want to get too much attention, while as a townie, I would want to be noticed to check the reads and reactions.

Overall, mixed feelings. Am I biased here?

Noted. Please remember me to respond to this in more detail if I survive the night.

I must have failed my Sense Humour check. It took me far too long to get that.

Rogan, I can see where you're coming from with some parts of that, but
    a) how do you know these people are "safe targets" for wolves? Why couldn't AV/Fext/bladescape be wolves?

    b) Meta is never partners with Caoimhin, so they're town. (Or SK, I suppose... actually that sounds kind of plausible. Still, I'd rather hunt wolves than the SK for now.)

Not just that, it is entirely possible that Snow and I are both wolves and I waited till the last moment to pick my favourite partner going forward. Which is why:

...you shouldn't, at least not where I'm concerned. I hate voting for fellow wolves, so I would have waited that long with it. And my real motives are hardly better: I genuinely thought I was picking between two misslynches, and I was very ready to switch my vote, mostly because out of the last four games, Caoimhin got killed Day 1, Night 1, and was narrator for a third. I still feel bad, after all it's not his fault he happened to draw wolf this time. But he acted weird, and you did not, even though I still think your entire "you made a fourth two-vote wagon instead of picking one of the existing ones" argument is flimsy at best. Shows how much I know...

I find it understandable. She either has no night kill power, and made an ill-considered joke, or she has one, and posted before considering that it would give her away. If she has one, it will instantly make her sus just like it did AV and Fext. If she says she doesn't, most of us won't believe her anyway. There's no good answer to give.

My Day 1 notes tell me: you claim not to have any kill powers, but would lynch AV and Fext for doing so (heavy emphasis on claim, because why would an innocent keep bringing it up?). You also responded to Wombat's spoilered all-caps message with "oh it must just be roleplaying", but in that very same post warned of a vote manipulator. Sounds like there's something you know that the rest of us don't. It is entirely possible that you are our serial killer, feeling threatened by having two people on your heels (one from each team, perhaps?). Definitely part of the game.

I had the same feeling especially during the first two-three pages of the game. You're posting a lot, the vast majority of them short and jokey with no content. It brims with excitement, and that often gives away a serial killer, more so than a wolf because they have their wolf chat to HYPE! HYPE! HYPE! HYPE! in. That, or you must really like what Unavenger came up with for your concept.

Tit for tat now: what was that spoilered message about?
78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.

    I don't know, but a theoretical wolf!Meta would.
In addition, AVs position about Cao did not feel like a bus, but I can be wrong here.

But okay, I trust you about Meta not being Caos partner. You are better about reading people.
