Related to my powers, who does town think the next wolf is?

One thing about this question which makes me a bit suspicious is the bolded part, could it be a kind of Mafia kill which recognizes votes as a kind of "proxy" so it displays the kill flavour as Town? Hmm, is a bit of a stretch. Dunno.

Though... taking into account the flavour text and bladescape's gameshow comments, it could be something to do with The Golden Shot where an audience member directs one of the staff to shoot a specific object. Therefore it wouldn't actually be bladescape's kill would it? Unavenger also mentioned adding a power which wasn't actually "allowed". Probably nonsense but who knows?

I'm assuming you got feedback from one of your own powers, so a Protection Power? Could've also been a passive. Hmm, maybe one like JeenLeen had in the YuGiOh game where you would gain feedback on all the people/powers who had targeted you if I remember correctly.

Getting lynch votes is not a problem. I could still share my results before EoD. An actual day kill... well, I don't expect one, but hey, nothing is impossible. And it would prevent me from talking, so it would hurt town.
