Meta has perma-baned bladescape and rogan (or is a lying wolf, but killing them would reveal meta as scum, so they won't get targeted tonight). If the wolves hit one of our six, they narrow the pool for us. They don't want to do that. If they hit Taff, they take out their only possible ally. They don't want to do that. I'm literally their best choice to murder tonight, which is why I've told both baners to be on me in case one of them is scum. Now they have no good options.

Wolf AV is always an easy guess to make, but this time, it would be nearly impossible.
AV could copy my power and got the same result with our names flipped. You know I am town, so I would not cooperate with wolf!AV to forge this lie.
So, AV either was not lying about her skill set and used the copy power, which makes much more sense if she is town.
Or she is capable of force-feeding me a lie. Either by knowing my power name, or by cooperation with goof, who would have to have the power to change the results his target gets.

In this case, my first question was answered correctly, AV and Goof are the wolves who are hiding behind the second, wrong question and AV faked her day 2.
It would also mean Cao was lying to gac all the time, since the wolves tried to kill AV.

It could also have a hidden drawback, but I am not sure if this would be allowed? Unavenger if someone had a power to gift power usages to other players, would the "not lying about the effect of your abilities" rule apply to the new temporary power?

It would in theory, but I could always make the drawback part of the inventor's skill set, not part of the skills themselves. Like, I could have the inventor have a passive power that does horrible things to anyone who uses an invention, without the invention-user ever knowing that there was a drawback.

Here is tye actual order of events as far as "me and Rogan saying our answers"

Rogan: "my list doesn't have book"

AV: "my list has rogan"

Rogan: "my list has Goof, AV, and unexpected third"

AV: "my list was Rogan, Goof, and taff"

Rogan: "yes, taff was my third as well"

There was not really enough time in here for me to be reacting to what Rogan was saying. We were posting past each other for a good bit of it. Rogan did not post his list first, he implied two of the names on it right before I stated all three of mine outright.

Rogan is correct on the reason I'm mech-cleared, I am saying you are incorrect when you said Rogan posted all his names before I did.

The results of N2 require Rogan to have given me an honest power name, and for me to have used it correctly and gotten basically identical results to rogan. Either we are both town, or both scum.

Mostly because when I first read that post I thought you were asking rogan if he got you as a hostile, but then forgot about that when you both posted the full answers. To be clear, I was mostly trusting AV after things calmed down but I deliberately wasn't telling my whole list at once anyway. This allowed AV to show her knowledge as well, giving visible proof for everyone to see. The way our posts crossed each other wasn't planned, but it's about the best result possible.

AV is cleared both by gac and his play to trick Cao (who would have no way to coordinate with his allies after his death) and the interaction with me.
I am cleared by Elenna and the fact I gave AV my real power name.

Really, it's easier to see me as a lying wolf than AV. It would require some strange moves by me and Elenna would need to lie, but if you want to scum read me, have fun.

AV using my power for town cred could be possible. But Cao told gac AV would be targeted at night 1, something AV confirmed.
AV could not know what Cao did in the dead chat, so this would be a hell of a lie.
