Might give this one a go, though I admit I am kind of done with the superhero movies. Jared Leto was an interesting choice for the lead but looks like he can do something with the source material.

If you grew up watching the cartoon you might care about him a little, but only insofar that he could have been a fun Spider-Man villain, he is not interesting enough to carry a movie on his own though. And it also doesn't help that this movie looks pretty bad.

Honestly they should have kept the lamprey hands from the cartoon. Those were way more horrifying then old fashion fangs.

And gave more the impression that he was a vampire-like scientific accident and not a supernatural Dracula-like vampire.

Second this. It’s also more distinctive, so if they ever wanted to set him up against Kraven or cross over with Blade, all they’d have to do is show a drained corpse with sucker marks on it and have the other party standing over it looking serious to get the idea across. With fang marks they’ll have to add more evidence/dialog to establish that it’s Morbius and not, say, Dracula.
