Rose walks over to the tray with the dagger and takes a closer look at it, trying to determine if it's magical, why it's here (a gift for the dead?) and who the statue behind it might be.

Zarron turns to Imrin. "Adamantine? I have never heard of this material, Mr. Imrin sir. Is this something normally used for coin? I only know of copper, silver, a mix of silver and gold, gold, and platinum."

[Fay]

Rose stands and ponders the dagger a bit more, trying to examine the statue, the way things are positioned and try to determine if she can tell anything about who it might have been left for, why and what the meaning is. Why do many of the trays carry potions but this one gets a bejeweled dagger? She also asks the unseen servant to prod it a bit. Not lift it from the tray, just move it slightly on the tray.

Ghiso gritted his teeth and reflexively weaved strands of magic with his fingers, forming a shimmerinh curtain around his head that repelled the enchantment (though he didn't know it was one).

"Careful, there are magical traps" he warned the others before taking the lute. After all he had already sprung that one specific trap.

[Zergrinch]

Zarron turns to Ghiso. " Oh no, what kind of magical traps, Mr. Ghiso sir? Do you have anything that can detect them somehow?"

[Izzarra]

Nothing happens when Rose has the servant prod the dagger. By the look of it there is no specific religious aspects to the dagger, it was probably a decorative piece that belonged to some royal.

Imrin looks at the coin "No dwarf would waste adamantine on coinage. It is far too useful for more practical applications like arms, armor, and tools."

Ghiso is able to recover the lute, however a second after he turns around the eyes of the stature glow red, the fingers turn sharp, and it claws at the back of his head.

Zarron's eyes go wide as Ghiso gets slashed by the statue.

"Leave our friend alone, you big ugly... Whatever you are!"

OOC:
Action to cast Vicious Mockery. Statue must succeed on DC 13 WIS save or suffer (1d4)[4] damage and make its next weapon attack at disadvantage.
Bonus Action to give a bardic inspiration die to Ghiso (+1d6 to any d20 roll made in the next 10 minutes).

Ghiso, feeling the claws cut into his scalp, rapidly jumped back lifting his shield up.

"Mrrrmph... I didn't take my own advice"

He will Disengage and back off a few feet to see if the statue chases or is rooted to the spot.

If it is we don't need to worry.

The statue shrugs off Zarron's spell and takes a few steps.

"I'm not sure why this thing woke up but we'll put it back to rest soon enough." Rose says as she steps forward. As she swings her halberd, she whispers a short phrase to the weapon and it becomes cloaked in a gentle green light.

Move two spaces northwest.

Swing with halberd. (1d20+5)[15] to hit, dealing (1d10+3)[4] damage on a hit, rerolled to (1d10+3)[13] on a 1 or 2 (so 4 or 5 with bonus)

Strike with other end. (1d20+5)[23] to hit, dealing (1d4+3)[5] damage on a hit.

On the first hit, Rose will smite, dealing (2d8)[6] additional radiant damage.

Taara sprang forward with the speed of a monk, quarterstaff in hand. She opened with a pole vault into a kick, then rolled and struck at the back of the stone creature's knee with her staff in the same movement that brought her to her feet.

Lana listened closely. Yes... even here in this dark crypt she could hear the sea, and all of its power. She called upon it and splashing nearby came out a spirit of a beluga, blue light shimmering off of it and bolstering those around it.

"Bear" Spirit: Everyone gain 9 hp.
Then I'd like to actually look around at a few of these other coffins and make sure there aren't going to be any surprise attacks coming from the undead inside. Perception? (1d20+5)[16]

[Izzarra]

Rose, Taara, and Imrin lay into the statue. Some of the attacks bounce harmlessly off of the stone body, but enough of them land true that it crumbles to the ground leaving a carved obsidian skull with two bloodstones behind.

[Zergrinch]

Zarron timidly approaches the skull and gives it a poke with his ten foot pole.

[Valmark]

Ghiso stood carefully next to Zarron, ready to shield him (literally, since he wielded a shield) from any possible harm.

"Well, at least it wasn't hard"

Well, he doesn't know he risked pietrificatiom.

[Izzarra]

The skull rolls a little when poked. It sits inert, the magic spent.

[Zergrinch]

"Do you have a way to detect magic, Mr. Ghiso? Maybe we should check everything in case something else comes to life."

[Valmark]

"Yes, I believe I do" Ghiso sat down not far from the skull and the gemstones and opened his book "And that I should use it" and started chanting.

Ritual Detect Magic!

[Zergrinch]

During the ten minutes that Ghiso is concentrating on his ritual, Zarron heads off to each door in turn, and listens carefully for signs of anything moving in the north, west, and east door.

The hat and lute have transmutation auras, adamantine coin has an enchantment aura.

There are no remaining magical traps in this room.

Through the door on the left side of the crypt there is the sound of a faint trickle of running water.

[Zergrinch]

After scooping up the skull and bloodstones and depositing them into Lana's labyrinthian load-bearer, Zarron cracks the left-most door a bit and peeks through the opening.

[Xihirli]

Lana peeked over Zarron's shoulder to see what was on the other end of this weird sometimes wall.

[Valmark]

"There are no more traps" Ghisto stood up "The hat and lute are magical- so are the adamantine coins. Wouldn't know what thry do without more time though"

[Izzarra]

Peaking into the room you see a spectral form clad in armor guarding the door on the opposite side of the room. It doesn't appear to notice you yet. There are a some coffins in the corners.

[Zergrinch]

Putting a finger to his lips, and looking specifically at Lana, Zarron magically creates a small facsimile of the specter he sees lurking in the next room, to warn the group of what he saw. The words "Surprise Attack?" in Common hang above said illusory specter.

Lana squints at the wording. She mouthed back

[Zergrinch]

Surprised at his own ability to understand lip-reading, Zarron shakes his head and changes the minor illusion.

"I bet it's as nice as that statue."

[Xihirli]

Lana poured, but nodded her OK to the plan.

[Fay]

Rose took a step forward and nodded.

[Valmark]

Ghiso frowned, but then nodded. He didn't have a better plan then that- not without entering the place. And with the magical items in their possession they had probably already been tagged as enemies by the place's denizens.

[Zergrinch]

Zarron takes a step back to allow the melee combatants better access to the door, and the minor illusion changes into a countdown timer.
