Default can a readied action trigger on your turn

    What the title says.
In pathfinder 1e is anything stopping you from setting the trigger condition to go off immediately?

    e.g.
Standard action, I ready an action to attack when I say cheese.
Free action, I say 'cheese' the readied action resolves.
    I continue taking my turn.

...Sure, why not. But I fail to see the point of this. Why not just use your standard action as normal when the trigger happens? You still can't use a readied action in the middle of a move or something.

Readied actions may be taken anytime before your next action. They occur just before the triggering action. Saying cheese is a free action.

So yeah, I guess this works. Barely. Go enjoy your overwatch style shenanigans.

Edit: Aaand I'm wrong. Missed a line in readying an action, as two posts below me pointed out.

Imho if we go strict RAW you'll get a straight "NO"..

RAW, you need to end your turn first before a readied action may be triggered.

    Ah, too bad.

I saw an interesting interaction between monk of the 4 winds granting extra standard actions and rhino charge letting you ready a charge with a standard action.

    I thought of another approach.

Is it possible to ready multiple actions on your turn assuming you have access to multiple actions?

    Now that's a straight no.

Case in point - normally you are capable of a move and a standard action, but you cannot ready more than a standard aciton.

Even if you could ready multiple, after readying, 'anytime before your next action, you may take the readied action in response to that condition.' So if you take the one readied action, the other can no longer be taken.

It may be possible to ready a partial charge if you can restrict yourself to only being able to take a standard action during your turn.

So a zombie, for example, can ready a charge action.
