Default Quick question about the "Necropolitan" (Libris Mortis)

In Libris Mortis there's a template style monster entry called the "Necropolitan" which can be applied to most any character/race and basically functions like a fully aware/intelligent zombie and allows you to retain your powers/abilities despite being undead. However info is limited as to whether or not it still needs to eat, sleep, breath, etc. I'm assuming since CON is reduced to 0 as part of the template than this is indeed the case. What do you all think?

Also note that Libris Mortis offers a variant where some Undead suffer ill effects if they don't feed for too long. Even under this variant though, Necropolitans are notes as having no feeding requirements.

Here the link to types & subtypes. There you can find the undead type.

Note that the "Features" only apply if you have racial hit dice (RHD). If you don't have any, only the "Traits" apply to your necropolitan.

Your con isn’t 0, it’s -. It’s the difference between 0 and a null value. For any check using a ability score you don’t have treat the modifier as +0. Also as a note on Necropolitan, it does change all hit die to d12s, not just racial. I’ve seen people argue it doesn’t. That’s both a feature of the specific template and, as per Savage Species rules that were never updated, the undead type as a whole.
