The Band of Brothers is no more.
Sad (if not unexpected) news. Edward Shames passed away Friday.
For those not familiar, he was a member of Easy Company, and the HBO series "Band of Brothers" was based on their story. He was the last surviving member, and was 99 when he passed."That's a horrible idea! What time?"
T-Shirt given to me by a good friend.. "in fairness, I was unsupervised at the time".

Thank you for mentioning it. Hopefully documentaries and video don't let us don't forget the experiences and horrors the greatest generation lived through.
My description will do this no justice...At Wright Patterson they have the goblet display for the Dolittle Raiders. That made me misty eyed about a decade back.
