I also have to advise, I may not be able to post every day. I have a friend who is in hospital, and I have been visiting her every second day for the last few weeks. She is unlikely to ever get out of hospital alive, so these visits will continue. It is terminal cancer, so she probably won't be around for long. But in the meantime, I will likely only be online every second day.

For an out of character answer, I found a fifth player and we're working on a character right now.

You'd also have plenty of time to do stuff around town, make checks to prepare for the adventure, or just roleplay among yourselves until we're ready for the adventure proper.

So, the checks that I'm gonna ask for are kinda loose, just seeing if there's anything the party missed from last time or if you could learn more about the upcoming adventure. You won't really miss anything from low rolls (you'll have plenty of time to get the basics of the house) but just seeing if you get anything extra.

For Eldryn, I think it would make sense for you to roll Investigation for examining everything, Arcana in case anything magical comes up, and Insight specifically to see if you learn any more about Sanbalet, since you've talked to him a bunch and he was living here for a while.

Other players can make some checks as well that would make sense for them, if you have a specific thing you wanna do make a post IC saying so.

My character is intended to be more leaning into the supportive category, both mechanically and narratively-wise.

If nobody else is using it, I think I'd prefer to use pink color for character speech.

As my charsheet is on Myth-weavers, I have yet to get used to it - I should just put the generated statblock in my post to present it, right?

Welcome to the game. I also see you are new to the forum, so very great welcome to you to the forum in general as well. There are good people here, I am sure you will like it.

Yeah, they were not great, but it's not a terrible time to roll low.

I probably won't get around to posting any results till Monday though, have a busy weekend. If anyone else has rolls they want to make I'll put them in the same post.

Otherwise, if anyone has in character interactions/conversations feel free to post. We're in a weird timeframe where you sorta have a week or two of downtime between getting the assignment from the council and actually having the adventure kick off, so any scenes in that time frame would be appropriate.

I think I'd still like someone to make a retroactive persuasion check to see how forthcoming he would have been with information. Whoever rolls it would get advantage for how Eldryn was talking to him/trying to help him out.
