That 2ed spell that spins projectiles around 180 degrees - does anyone know if it exists in 3.5ed?

Protection from Arrows is probably the current equivalent, but I doubt such a powerful spell would be second level, I mean, complete immunity from projectiles AND punishment for the action? Seems a little strong. There is, however, a feat that allows you to immediately throw back any thrown weapon upon snatching it.

Nah, that was in 2nd edition, too. But there wasn't any spell in 2e core that did what the OP is describing... Do you know what supplement it was from? There might be an equivalent supplement in 3e, which would be the place to start looking.
