Ah, I overlooked it in the bonus feats.

Given it provides 100ft of Telepathy (Su), Levi would have to act as a telepathic hub. Broadcasting his thoughts to the group, receiving others' thoughts and then broadcasting those out to the group. Though I think immunity to mind-affecting would prevent you from joining the conversation given Shedu Crown specifies its telepathy is mind-affecting.

I thought we cleared this earlier as I brought up the fact that Abigail was basically immune to it due to her voe of poverty

We probably did. I've been overworked for awhile so some of these things fall out of my brain. I wouldn't stop you from having it work due to VoP.

So Levi cannot communicate to Abigail via telepathy since her immunity is blocking it? Or can she drop the immunity voluntarily (like SR) for the ability to work?

I'm fine with Abigail being able to voluntarily drop it for non-harmful effects like the telepathy.

It's the same as previous. As best the group can tell, the lich isn't intentionally engaging in deceit, but might know more than it's letting on.

Do our characters get a surprise round if they attack the lich? Or are they resuming where they left off?

We would be resuming where we left off, which was the party's move. You'd get full actions instead of just the standard action in a surprise round. The Lich appeared and attempted Diplomacy for the opponents' turn.

It should be pretty clear that the lich isn't opposed to engaging in some manipulation, but might be the first Dungeon Denizen that actually doesn't want to fight with you.

What does Alistair know about the creature thru the portal?

The creature through the portal is a Pit Fiend. There's almost no information on them in Solum other than theoretical considerations as no one has reported encountering one. Anyone who has encountered one knowingly likely didn't return to make any report.

As an apex Devil, it likely has abilities shared by many Devils: physical combat prowess, various powerful spell-like abilities, the ability to call upon other Devils, teleport, elemental resistances or immunity, telepathy and the like.
