Cmon now, they just had episodes where interracial people kissed, had women, POC, and people from various countries in command positions, all in the 60s. It's not like they had episodes where a half-black, half-white people hated a half-white, half-black people or anything. Hey, remember the sequel series that had a species with three genders?

I mean, there is a difference between "woke" and "progressive" but where that line is is probably very personal and hard to really dig into considering forum rules. Suffice to say Star Trek has always aimed to be ahead of it's time.
