From what Harem said it seemed to be a "get you in the mood" not a "make you go out and do it" and I'm not convinced that alcohol is the right frame of reference for it. I think of it like this after hearing that explanation, imagine walking down the road and every billboard, tv screen, ad on your phone, and ad on the side of a bus going by was all some variation of a person or thing that gets you in the mood just all at once. I could see people after this being generally more randy then they had been over the next couple days for all sorts of reasons, but I don't imagine it would have a persistent effect all on it's own though.

How often does a relationship go from "we just had great sex and I'm fine with that" to "not OK" in a few strips (presumably a matter of minutes / hours)? Not all that often, and since we know magic is part of this situation, I don't think we should assume any changes in relationships are normal if they are sudden.

Relationship might be a strong word here, but a transition of "Let's boink like there's no tomorrow!" to "This was a huge mistake." can be very fast and very drastic as the hormonal rush subsides. It happens all the time.

Plus if we're getting into Mr. A/Jiggawatt/Heatwave drama shortly, it could come down to basically common cheating, just with a little supernatural nudge on the timing. If Mr. A and Jiggawatt were already kinda grooving before this, getting their horny buttons hit might've just pushed them over the edge now, rather than some other day when they both happened to be in the mood and standing too close together. People make dumb mistakes thanks to their hormones without a sex demon's interference all the time. Or, heaven forbid, this might've not actually been the first time.

I don't agree with the line of discussion it takes its roots from (basically I'm of the opinion that authors have free reign to set up their universes any way they want to, our only decision as readers is whether or not we continue reading; and in this case I don't even find anything particularly objectionable), but I do like the implied continuation from the current topic title with "Let Me Explain Further And Make It Worse".
