    That excerpt is talking about different spells interacting with each other. Polymorph and Shapechange are two separate spells. The one you want is the one above it. "Same effect with differing results" tells us that multiple castings of shapechange would do nothing as the previous castings are made irrelevant by the most recent cast. It's the main reason why I argue you can't stack the energy resistance spell or similar spells. If it did it would lead to the exact scenario you mentioned where you get to keep all the racial Su/Ex abilities of the forms you take per copy of the spell on you, or unlimited feats from the spell heroics.

    but you could still use Shapechange for a human bonus feat and than Poly into something else.
