Eh, I guess you're right. I watched the trailer again (meaning I've now seen it more times than I saw The Force Awakens), and it seems that the goggle things fooled me.

Also, I'm very happy for this to be K2SO-free.

He's only the best character in the last 5 Star Wars films (admittedly a fairly low bar), but okay.

I noticed that first time around, looks very much like. I assumed this was a local guerilla group, fighting a pre-existing conflict with whatever comparatively low-tech weapons they could scrounge.
