Re: Madness at Brightmore Abbey OOC [5e]
No issue with an opportunity attack. I know Skipsy has failed every single concentration check she's had to make so far, but the little guys don't have much of an attack bonus, so her highish AC might pay off for once.

Re: Madness at Brightmore Abbey OOC [5e]
Sorry for the delay in this, yes that works - you are just barely in range to hit both swarms and the big spider after moving back 5ft. Even if the swarm crits you it's probably not gonna drop you to zero so go ahead and I'll sort the OA later.

Re: Madness at Brightmore Abbey OOC [5e]
@Spore
Please can you be more specific about what you're doing on your turns. I don't want to have to dig into class descriptions to find out you're using Channel Divinity instead of casting a spell.

Re: Madness at Brightmore Abbey OOC [5e]
Alright, concentration check for Skipsy. It's just the spider swarm on Jade that's covered in goop now, but still.

I have been holding off on posting due to Spore's IRL situation but they've been offline for the better part of a week and a half so...

Re: Madness at Brightmore Abbey OOC [5e]
Writing a post now, but I gotta double check what Skipsy got at the general store. I know for sure I got some traps, and I'm pretty sure I bought some flasks of oil, and between those I think we're in a good position for whatever's waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs.
EDIT: Yep, ten flasks.
Just in case I forget to finish the post tonight, Skipsy's gonna suggest setting up an ambush/trap using the stairs as a choke point. So if anything nasty does come after us, we can retreat up the way we came, and get them caught up in bear traps and oil.Last edited by Khosan; 2023-02-16 at 05:43 PM.

Re: Madness at Brightmore Abbey OOC [5e]
Gonna roll history first to see if I make anything of this place. Jok'lek might have once had a passing interest in this kind of thing, but I don't expect much given his stats and profs

Man, what is up with my initiative lately lmao, is alert only keeping me out of the literal ones?

Re: Madness at Brightmore Abbey OOC [5e]
Running works, but we can probably set up a convenient kill-box here. We've got a door wide enough for one of them and three melee fighters, plus the Rogue's mind control which they're not likely to resist, so we could manage.
My question would be whether or not Skipsy firing her gun would alert whoever was in the other room.Hall of Honor:

Re: Madness at Brightmore Abbey OOC [5e]
Is the Rogue card available to be used whenever? Or is it like the Comet where it has a little sigil that we need to activate and use?

Re: Madness at Brightmore Abbey OOC [5e]
Looks like I also screwed up the initiative bonus on my sheet, can't believe I missed that.
Is this door wide enough for me to stand next to Jade? Was hoping to smack that ogre, maybe even shove it once or twice to give us more room to maneuver, especially if we're gonna deal with reinforcements
