Infernal Heritage: Sorcerror Howl
I wonder if its just me but this would definitely seem to be a great asset to a sorcerror. It helps clear up your very limitted spell list, giving you a sonic cone attack for some decent damage. Thoughts? Its in PHB 2

Except that you still expend a spell slot. he good thing about it is that its a fort save, which takes care of those pesky evasion brats.

Wouldn't stop a Crusader from tearing into you, wouldn't even slow them down.

The crusader will go down with an Bands of Steel, since they have terrible Reflex save. The idea is that it offers versatility. Supposedly, not a lot of area damage spells that target fort.

I agree. Although they seem inefficient due to lack of known spells, I think this'd be a great feat for a utility sorc. Actually building a character around that set of feats, so here's hoping it turns out well.

Re: Infernal Heritage: Sorcerror Howl
It's not half bad since it's a Fort save, it deals sonic damage, and it doesn't allow for spell resistance. The darkvision feat on that chain is also decent, giving you another reason to take the feats.

And the DM may count it as a breath weapon, so a kobold sorceror can get the breath feats.
