It's probably just that I wasn't clear. I was just meaning people who don't have money to burn. Those who go for a practical car (anywhere from a budget car to an exec car) instead of flamboyant car like a Lamborghini. In other words, those who are not super rich.

Sure, and if you're upper-class, you almost certainly have money to burn. Middle-class has more variance in definition, but then, an "exec car", if we have the same idea in mind, is still style and spending over substance even if it's not a name with the cachet of Lamborghini or Rolls-Royce, so our definitions of "practical car" are also different.

It is actually a more even distribution than I thought. Nearly 50% of adults in the world have assets of tens of thousands of US dollars or more. Given how heavily populated several poor countries are, I would have guessed that number was much lower.

Ah. I got the same in Vivaldi when I just checked (probably not as chopped off, as I could still make out the text well enough), but yeah. Updated the link so that shouldn't happen again.

ETA: Also, gonna take this opportunity to recommend Vivaldi. One of my favorite things about it is every year there's a new and updated article on a reputable site on the benefits of switching to Vivaldi.

Fantastically well! You may not be able to use every single feature to its fullest extent, but that's about it. I don't even use it as a power user, I'm just a fan of how sleek and fast it is, among other things (it tends to pioneer things that other browsers eventually integrate later on). I've been a huge fan ever since the days when Opera was still good.

A recurring pattern I've noticed in my dreams is that there will be some dangerous creature on the lose that everyone knows about but I'm the only one that sees as a problem.

Like the earliest example was when I was like four and I dreamt that there were two Jurassic park raptors in the house and everyone was either playing with them or trying to make me play with them instead of... ot escaping from the dangerous predators that I knew at the time liked to kill and eat children?

And then just tonight I fell asleep and dreamt that I was being forced to go investigate sightings of a deformed undead child that lures people to a hotel room to kill and eat them and it turns out to be real and everyone knows it's real but I'm the first person to think "hey, maybe we should... Kill the damn thing instead of letting it do what it wants?"

Knowing Rater? it might just be a manifestation of his general feeling that people in his life don't listen to him when he points out things that seem obvious to him, thus contributing to his sense of alienation from others.

If I'm recalling the details of the dream, and translating dream logic right, it was a "the hotel is in business but rumored to be haunted" situation.

I can't be 100% sure though because the exact details of the dream were "I was reading a Tvtropes page for an obscure hidden side quest for GTA4 involving a ghost sighting in a random part of town... That looked more like Gotham in Arkham Knight than anywhere in either version of Liberty City, then I was playing it, then I was Niko Bellic, then I was me again, the streets were a hotel, a small child was trying to get me to come back to his room, and then my mom who was also there was telling me that the child was a ghost and it would kill and eat me if I went with it and I'm like "then why is a child still alive?"

The GTA4 parts i can make sense of, Lanipator did a playthrough of that on his gaming channel and I've been watching that. Not sure where the rest of it came from but it fits with a recurring pattern in my dreams.

I wouldn't say I love it. Those are the only two scenarios where I tolerate it. Haven't found a sugarfree gum with a taste I like, and the options I have for non-ming toothoaste are very limited.
