City Size
I'm trying to make my city, my legacy what I gave back to D&D, but when it came to populations I got stumped. I'm making it a Venice like city so aquatic creatures are in the mix but dwarfs are down alot.
my plan
{table=head]race | Percent | Total
Dwarf's | | 80-100
Human's | 42-50%|
elf's | 12-14%|
aquatic | 16-20% |
wood/wild elf | 4-6% |
gnome | 7% |
halfling | 10% |
other | 5-14|
[/table]
but I'm not sure the total I want a good sized city, but not a supercity.
If anyone has the chart of city sizes would greatly help or any sites that help come up with important things

Re: City Size
"venous like city"? Perhaps you mean Venice, as in the city with the canals for streets? I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of charts like this in the Dungeon Master's Guide somewhere.
Ah. See pages between 136-139 or so.Last edited by Omniplex; 2007-11-28 at 12:02 AM. Reason: found it

Re: City Size
When you say "Aquatic," do you mean "Aquatic Humanoids" (eg Merfolk, Locathah, Aquatic Elves), "Aquatic Humanoids and Monstrous Humanoids" (eg Saguahin, Sea Hags, everything above), "Miscellaneous Intelligent Aquatic Creatures" (eg Aboleths, Water Naga, everything above) or "Aquatic Racial Variants on normal creatures"?
