If you mean this… Well, I'm not exactly sure melange is exactly what one'd call a "cooking ingredient", regardless of where Belkar would store the jar.

Yeah, that's it. They specifically call it a spice multiple times during the page, and spices are meant to be used for cooking. Belkar just chugs it instead of using it properly, it's a disgrace to chefs everywhere!

ZhonLord: Belkar misuses pineapples as a thrown weapon in #514 final and wine to set Miko on fire in #270 9th (you can cook stew with wine). I thought he also misused a carrot in #578 final to become a unicorn, but no, he used a shoe. An Azure city chef misuses coconut oil in the battle in #432 1st to 6th. Haley misuses flour in #608 5th but this one doesn't count because Haley isn't a chef.
