    Default RIP David Warner

David Warner has passed away. A true treasure of genre media, the voice of R'as al Ghul from the definitive Batman the Animated Series as well as the Cardassian torturer of Captain Picard in Star Trek TNG, David Warner has been a solid and recurring presence across the various movies, tv shows and cartoons that fuel the fire of fandom. A unique voice and presence that will never be duplicated and will be missed.

I've been re-watching clips of Chains of Command after hearing of his passing.

    Rest in peace, Jon Irenicus.

He was also in Babylon 5 and was the voice of Jon Irenicus in Baldur's Gate 2.

    Sorry to see him go.

Definetly one of the best Doctors. Shame to lose him.

I remember him from so many great (and not so great) things from the 80's and 90s in particular. It's a real shame he never got wider acclaim, I can't recall a role he didn't elevate and was often the best part of whatever he was in. A great actor who never seemed to phone it in for a paycheck, never treated any role as beneath him.

Rest in Peace Mr. Warner. End of Line.

His death is a horrible loss of talent. We will suffer. We will all suffer! - Irenicus line
