    Ok, here's a concept I came up with earlier: a smart and skilled hero who has your standard electric powers with the twist of being unable to throw around truly powerful lightning bolts unless he has access to metal. The metal armor limits how much that flaw will typically affect our hero, but that is just equipment... Strange thing to randomly latch onto and build? Maybe. But it is pretty cool to think about. At least I think so. And I'm always right. Just ask anyone who agrees with me.

    Ok, I will go ahead and add an addendum to my Doc Ock build. Yes, I used a convoluted Move Object effect instead of a straight forward Limited Strength effect. Would that have worked? Yes. Would it have been simpler to build? Yes. Would it have been as fun to build? Probably not. Hence, the overly complicated version you see here.

    Ok, some notes. First off, this build is a composite of sorts. I.E. this is the omnitrix from the original series slapped onto a teenage Ben. Why? Because I had more points to spend on skills, abilities, and advantages than I could justify on a ten year-old Ben, dealing with a bunch of shrinking and growth powers gives me a headache, and I just wanted to stat the original ten aliens, darn it! Tip for the tourist: if you ever plan on doing more than ten aliens for an omnitrix variation, save yourself some trouble and just use variable. All that aside, revisiting my childhood like this was fun, so this is probably one of my new favorite builds.

    Now, some notes. First, this build is stupidly overpowered. If you find yourself thinking otherwise, hire a psychiatrist ASAP. Second, my original thought for the build was even worse, as I contemplated Enhanced Advantages (Sidekick) before deciding that was too cheesy even for me. Third, this build isn't based around anyone in particular and doesn't delve into catching Pokémon. The reasoning is simple; I'm not super knowledgable on all the lore, nor am I a huge fan of the media outside of the games, and I don't know where I'd start with mechanically representing pokéballs. Final note, besides the obvious acknowledgement that you could use the heal effect if you really want potions and revives: you may have noticed I didn't stat the Pokémon that are to be summoned. This is intentional because a) I don't want to spend my entire evening on that and b) it lets you customize exactly how your team is set up. But mostly a.

    Yeah, it's definitely a game-y kind of power to grab. Granted, a lot of these builds end up being like that when the idea is to take a character from comics, tv, etc. or a random concept and turn it into a PL 10 (150) character sheet. Still, GM discretion is advised when anything like these kinds of builds comes up.

    The major note for this build is that it represents the semi-mythical literally-never-misses version of bullseye that only seems to exist when fighting unnamed characters. This is the obviously superhuman Bullseye who finger flicks a toothpick 100 meters through a window to kill some poor woman or who tosses a paperclip through a random vehicle's tire. I statted 'I'm up like this because it was a fun thought experiment, though a more typical Bullseye would probably drop "perfect shot" and transfer the 12 ranks of Ranged Attack from the Devastating Shot power to just his normal advantages. This version would still be ridiculously dangerous with throwing everyday objects, but would better represent the fact that a large percentage of his attacks don't actually hit their targets.

    Note of the Day: Subtle 2, especially with insidious, is really, really, really powerful. This is especially true when you consider everything has a perception range that works with the Psychic Perceptions power. This psychic can assassinate someone in the next room over and literally no one will notice until the target is dead, and, even then, there won't be anything that could cast suspicion on the psychic. That's not even getting into the various mind control powers or Alter Mind power. Overall, this is a very powerful and versatile build that exemplifies why psychics are scary.
