So I recently went back and checked some stuff, Kabuto was literally just generating snakes from his body that were still part of his body during the war arc.

So Mitsuki's snake clones being created rather than existing snakes, as I speculated in my white snake poer treatise, is looking more accurate.

I'm seeing a potential rivalry between Senko and the members of your Leaf Team 9.

Obviously, there's the whole thing with Emi having wanted the sanke contract for her own research and in general them both being biologists...

But Kokite's lack of social awareness could be read to parallel Senko's to a degree and her desire to assimilate everyone into a single hive mind with no individuality is arguably a more sinister version of Senko's desire to recreate Ninshu...

And Shiko's arrogance, nitpicking, and workaholic nature... Senko literally just had a whole thing before the pre-exams about how hyper-focusing on getting the work done to the extent of neglecting self-care and just having fun was just making things worse.

I'm trying to figure out how exactly I want Senko's "White Snake" abilities to develop.

I'm leaning closer to Kabuto than to Orochimaru, but with a serpentlike tail in place of a belly snake... But unlike Kabuto, she isn't snakelike all the time, only when she's using the more advanced white snake abilities... Probably eventually merges her amphibious form into that.

Probably some sort of cell activation ability or upgrading her healing factor to improve and condition her body instead of just healing it.

Probably gonna use a variation of Kabuto's snake generation ability in place of actually summoning snakes for Dancing Shadow Snakes hands becuase it's not really clear how sapient those particular snakes are...

Like, some of the summoned snakes are people and some are just snakes.

maybe I should've waited on this, maybe I should've thought about this more, its not right for me to make roleplay your character in a way you don't want, I should've been better and made something that made more sense, or something. who do people keep beating themselves up for my failures when its clearly me making the mistakes?

I mean, it's not clear that you're the one making mistakes.

As a player the information on who the "villain" is is already out there so it's entirely possible that my metaknowledge is biasing me subconsciously.

And honestly, the "official story" isn't that bad. If it has been a case of "he had a hidden kunai on him that didn't turn up on the search" or "he grabbed a kunai from one of the Hokage's escorts" Senko wouldn't have had so much reason to be suspicious.

Dammit, thats what I should've gone with. first draft I had Hisaki escorting the Hokage because he'd insist but then I realized he wasn't at the police station yet so I had to adjust, but then I realize it didn't make sense, now this whole thing makes no sense at all aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh. why did do this? what now?

maybe Senko should be suspicious just give her a chance, before I try to course correct as much as I can....
