Re: Candy-Coated Werewolf
First, thanks everyone for the game! Especially Taffimai for hosting, and for having great narration.
Second, I apologize a bit for the Thing, it was added more as a random afterthought than an actual plan.Last edited by Book Wombat; 2022-11-11 at 02:54 PM.

Re: Candy-Coated Werewolf
GG WP Town!
GG Wolves, game got really really hard after the mason claim, but you still made F3 and that's really impressive.
Taffy thanks for hosting, this was super fun! Glad I lost that bet :D

Re: Candy-Coated Werewolf
no need to apologise - it didn't break any rules and clearly isn't something that gitp's mafia culture regards as inappropriate
for those of us who see such moves as angleshooting, we ought only to argue for them to be blocked at source, rather than blaming any players who make use of them
gg, btw
catching the sk hit n1 is the mark of a game well played (unless i'm the sk and you single-post lolcuth)Last edited by Mrs McGinty; 2022-11-11 at 03:36 PM.

Re: Candy-Coated Werewolf
Right. Thoughts.
- firstly, congratulations to town. Particularly Visor, for being scary enough to get N2ed as a known VT. When you're tunneling one wolf and probably about to turn on the other, you need to die asap. But everyone in general played really well and made my life very hard.
- apologies to my partners for ruthlessly bussing. Not that I had a vast array of better options. (For those curious, the Xumtiil bus wasn't planned from the beginning; I was trying to angle for a gac vote but then the Thing happened and by the time the dust from that had settled bladescape was trying to kill Xumtiil and I'd boxed myself out of voting the counterwagons so I decided to just cut my losses and commit.)
- thanks to Taffimai for entertaining narration and moral and emotional support, including believing in me more than I believed in myself (the way that endgame played out means we were both right!)
- was great to meet and play with the various visitors, hope you stick around or just pass through occasionally.
Apology accepted. I don't really think complaining about it is productive so I'll just ask future narrators to add something along the lines of "please don't try to use the exact words of role PMs to your advantage" to their rules.
Game got impossible after the Persolus flip. I picked up the mason softs pretty early on so knew that was coming, and people treating bladescape as mechanically clear when he wasn't technically just made it worse. But yeah, I consider making F3 and coming that close to winning an achievement in its own right.I'm writing stuff, come and read it!

Re: Candy-Coated Werewolf
Oh, right. One very important thing:
Thanks Taffi for an entertaining game!
The narrative was funny and well written, the Halloween special a great idea and the game balance was a bit different than expected, but fine.
I think it was especially nice to have an active narrator in the private channels and I think you did a very good job being active without influencing the game.
10/10, would play again!Spoiler: I'm a seer

Re: Candy-Coated Werewolf
No it's me who has to say thank you all for playing!
I am glad you all enjoyed the game and were such very good sports about it when I dropped the ball ❤️78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.

Re: Candy-Coated Werewolf
seriously a breath of fresh air, very fun, very chill

Agreed, big props to Taffi for hosting, and coming up with some great flavor! I know I've said this a few times but this game was really enjoyable. Nobody seemed to get super heated, there were definitely some "down time" periods where people could catch their breath, and overall the vibe of the game was just really chill.
