It does not quite hit the call knows where you live, because she never tried to turn it down.

Jumped at the call dose not really work either. She seems more resigned they excited

She reminds me of the twilight bark dogs(and other animals) in 101 Dalmatians. A jobs needs doing and I can do it.

I think she pretty clearly jumped at the call! She found out the world was in danger and went for it immediately. And then she turned down a happy afterlife for another chance to make a difference. She just wants to do her part and make her mark, I think.

I don't have a list of tropes handy, but her reasoning ultimately came down to not having had a chance at a full life, and wanting to go back and experience everything she'd be missing out on. If there's a trope for that, it'd be it.
