Stylized art, rhythm-based combat, great soundtrack....
Like to know other folks thoughts without giving too much of the game to folks who haven't seen.May you get EXACTLY what you wish for.

But nah, the composers behind it worked on Metal Gear Solid's OST, Monster Hunter 3 4 and Generations, and the Evil Within, to name a few.

My roommate already played through it--seems like a neat little game. I'd have a go on it if I weren't already buried deep in 'games I'd like to get to.' Honestly, beat 'em up/whatever you call DMC + rhythm game is a genre crossover that, in hindsight, just feels right. Sort of like Crypt of the Necrodancer in 'why have I not seen this tried before?' (Not that it hasn't, but it hasn't reached my attention)

It looks and sounds amazing, but it 100% needed a Hideki Naganuma song on the OST!

Would you say the tone in-game is closer to No More Heroes or Sunset Overdrive.

Neither? It's got its own charms. Plot is consistent, the voice actors do a great job of hamming it up for the personalities, and the choices rather fun. Originally Posted by MCerberus
