Perhaps we should ask her to wait outside? This is probably a bit less exposed than leaving her in the middle of nowhere.

I agree. The more "adventurous" things get, the less safe she is. But us splitting up to escort her to safety is not an option as far as I'm concerned.

Speaking of Fireballs, mine is on its way now. Not sure if anyone can beat a 27 initiative, but please don't run into the room until the exploding stops if you do.

Well, let's just hope the probably mostly innocent civilian hostage was outside the blast range (or had Evasion up and working). Anyhow, GreatAxe, Chimaera: have an extra attack each!

He ran to the back of the room away from the troll, so I believe he's out of the area. Just to be clear, I would like to not hit him with the blast if he doesn't appear hostile.

Messed the bonus: first attack should be 29 to hit.
Second one is correct, 27 to hit.

I am a bit concerned that he has not even been online since the time I posted about the troll encounter but we will wait for now.

UPDATE: I have initiated the process of re-recruiting for the ranger position.

Hello! I apologize for my absence, there have been some life things going on that I could not predict before joining the game that have made me a poor player, I'm afraid.

Work got much more intense, I've had health issues, some family is hospitalized, etc, etc, etc. I know none of this is a good excuse, but I hope its at least a reason.

Re-recruiting would probably be a good idea. I was actually logging in to suggest something similar.

Thank you all very much for the opportunity to play, and I hope that your new ranger is a much better fit than I turned out to be. :)

Ranger replacement reporting to work, what's the status?

    @Chimera How have you been?

@Metastachydium alas, do we find ourselves in another tight situation?

@MikelaC1, thanks for picking me up, I'd need to know what's the gear Ragnus Inherits.

Okay Auran has already logged in, so lets do.
I cannot stress this enough, we are all going to have to suspend some disbelief here and assume it was always Auran and Ragnus in the group, who found the map and was the leader...he is not in for Garrett, he was "Garrett". There is a very important reason for this that will become known soon.
Auran, take everything Garrett had or change up, keeping to proper WBL, not counting the sword
    Garrett

I'll also have absolutely no issue running Garrett instead. He seems a cool dude. I'll just change the feats and combat style. The only major issue is the solitary hunter ACF, which really makes the ranger much more viable, I could keep the viper companion using a feat on Wild Cohort.

Greetings and welcome, Auran, it's been a while.

Doing okay, mostly busy with work stuff and the ever present RPG. How about you?

Playing Urag, a barbarian with seven fingers in each hand and a very greataxe. Totem lion barbarian.

Nah, this is just a troll and the cave explicitly has an open exit we are aware of! Also, the orcs/goblinoids are already holding the city this time, so we need not worry about their besieging it either.

So, if Mikela allows, I'll just call Ragnus Garrett and swap improved initiative for Wild Cohort. The only suspension of disbelief will be that Garrett wil be slightly better with bows and his viper will be slightly better at fighting.

    Thus, New Garrett

    Garrett Greyholm
