Default Paladin PF 1e Seeking Advice

MY Character Idea Is a Paladin in the Style of an Aztect Warrior

Weapon is a Terbutje and a Shield for Defense

I Don't Think pathfinder has a Good God that Favors that weapon...
So I need to figure that out.....

Well i know a Steel Terbutje is better I'd rather use one made of Stone (For Flavor)

I'd be going Human as my race, and Having Her played Deep down as wise but very unaware of how things work in Places not The jungle Temple she Grew up in. She's some what easy to trick for example a hafling Rogue conning her out of her last few gold coins with a sob story or falling fora gambling Tricks or ETC.

I picture her as Having Robust Health , Very Strong and a little Agile At least a little wise and of course charismatic as She's just plain good person and gets along well with others

What would be a Good set of of Armor to get the feeling on going for?

I know My Ac Will be a bit lower with out the heavy Armor but feel Taking like a heavy Shield , making it at least +2 To start and taking Shield Focus would Help.

I am kinds considering weapon of chosen Feat Line for Her but am unsure.

Hmm, if you don't want heavy armor, have you considered the Hunting Paladin?

If you bring your terbutje to a wizard with the Masterwork Transformation spell, they can make your weapon masterwork, which will drop the fragile quality, making it just as robust as a steel one (unless your DM likes sundering). Aztecs used armor that would probably be most like the Padded Armor. Keep in mind that this class and equip loadout is going to make you reliant on STR, DEX, CON, and CHA.
