critical condition: stunned, in Player's option - combat & tactics
Our group needs help understanding how to interpret 'stunned' as a result in the critical-hit tables in Player's option . Combat & Tactics.
It would seem that the condition is considered less of a problem (sometimes severity 4) than for example 2/3 move (sometimes severity 5).
We have been playing it much like the 3rd edition stun with no move or actions, and because of that, we often pray for a lower severity roll, as we would rather stun a monster for 1d6 rounds than roll higher and give it -2 to attacks. To us this indicates that perhaps we have interpreted 'stun' wrong.
How do you play or interpret 'stunned' in the critical hits tables?
I really hope some of you have an opinion we can lean on

Re: critical condition: stunned, in Player's option - combat & tactics
Stunned, per the PH (Power Word Stun, Color Spray) is "reeling, unable to think or act coherently." I would say you can still move, but not take any actions, which follows with the critical tables, which will stun you, then give you a movement penalty.
