I think it would be fun to go Squatch hunting but I don't have the IRL friends or the health for it.

I don't think I'd actually find something, if Bigfoots exist we'd probably have found a body or at least a picture that wasn't far blurrier than a modern camera should take by no, but like... You're basically just hanging out with your buddies in the woods and Squatch hunting is a better excuse than a lot of reasons people go and do that.

Whatever tattoos say or doesn't say about society, the fact that I've been thinking about getting a tattoo (but never getting around to it) for about 20 years now probably says something about me.

Kind of similar here, except it's piercings in my case. Got the earlobes done, but I'm considering getting the ear cartilage or nose, maybe an eyebrow. Unfortunately I'm aware it'll probably actually hurt, unlike the lobes.

Correct, decriminalized means (very simplicistically, no need to get into thr nitty gritty of it) that you can't be arrested for it as its not a criminal offense. The municipality has decriminalized it (with restrictions, of course) while its still federally illegal, so technically any federal law enforcement can still arrest one for it. But unless its DEA or you're doing something stupid like smoking in the Library of Congtess or somethign odds are incredibly low that any any DC cops will care. They have dozens of police departments for that tiny tract of land (eg metropolitan police, library police, US parks police, pentagon police, etc etc etc) and they all have better things to do than care about pot.

This is a wild thought to me because "willingly go out into the woods" is something that always unnerves me. Must come with the territory of living far up north where if you go off the road too much you'll end up in the middle of bear's house, and bear doesn't like you being in his house! I imagine American wilderness is a lot less... wild?

My favorite take on the whole Big Foot thing is that it's a creature that is just naturally blurry. Clearly not true, any skunk ape is just a regular animal mistaken for a man or faked, but funny to consider.

I have attempted a rolled cheese.

I don't think I did it right, ended up with more a fried bread pocket stuffed with cheese than cheese rolled up in bread.

It's good though, and while it takes more prep work it also cooks faster in the pan.

(Used honey oat with seeds and 'taco blend' which was cheddar, Monterey Jack, Colby, and unspecified added spices)
