Drunken master and improvised weapons

Just realized, after reading the class again

drunken master doesn't progress unarmed strike damage
is not technically proficient with improvised weapons (though that's at least debatable)
and can't flurry with improvised weapons either

unless I'm missing an errata or clarification of some kind?

yeah it is as it is.

Imho this is one of the 3.0>3.5 transition problems. In 3.0 monk's US ability did work a bit different. Flurry was in-build in the monk's BAB progression.

By RAW, Drunken Master is a very poor prc. Imho sole a 2 lvl dip for Stagger is interesting for Ubercharger builds.
