I'd note that his statue is obviously considerably larger than Durkon and Minrah, and Kraagor was not depicted as considerably larger than average for a dwarf in life.

His friends just made a statue for him, Lirian and Dorukan would both have had access to Stone Shape.

I'm most basing this on colors and strip 1291. It's how he ascended in the first place without sponsorship.

I always put that down to Redcloak not having died yet, but TDO's motives have been very vague so far to the audience. You might be on to something.

Given that the author has explicitly stated that the plan is as presented, i would say the odds are quite low.

That's why the Dark One's actual plan is to use the threat of moving the Gate to extract concessions from the other gods and deter preemptive strikes against his followers. Those concessions will be significantly less than, "All of you be my slaves forever," because at that point, the calculus would change and some of the gods might risk the bomb getting dropped on one of them to end the Dark One's threat to their friends and family.

Which I still think allows for the Dark One to have secrets from Redcloak, though obviously not as extensive as "the ritual will do something entirely unrelated to what you thought."
