Re: Girl Genius XXXII: The scientific method at work!
Those look like Slaver Engines. My guess is that these are modified to function in Polar Lord temperatures, but Agatha's array means that it's going to be too warm for this swarm.

The thing about being promised reminds me of Lucrezia. Something went majorly wrong to have her end up like she did, and some of what she's said implies that someone or something told her that something she was trying to do would be easy but misled her.

Re: Girl Genius XXXII: The scientific method at work!
Here, I believe?
There's a scene in the start of the 4th novel that possibly shows the creation of the Other. In that she is shown as being serenely confident that she's got it right up to the moment everything blows up, despite everyone warning her. I suspect that she was suffering from major over-confidence rather than being told it was easy.Warning: This posting may contain wit, wisdom, pathos, irony, satire, sarcasm and puns. Hmm, the engines were a bluff/diversion so he had time to regroup and regather himself after getting blindsided huh? Not bad. If you are gonna blow a trump card to take down the big bad, make sure you take him down before switching targets. Trump cards tend to have a limited shelf life. But then, ive been reading a lot of cultivation manhwas recently so I tend to see that sort of thing a lot. :p

(Comic's up now, do I still spoiler?)
Is that the Star she's using? Wonder how it factors in.I'm pretty much the opposite of concise. If I fail to get to the point, please ask me and I'm happy to (attempt to) clarify.
