Those look like Slaver Engines. My guess is that these are modified to function in Polar Lord temperatures, but Agatha's array means that it's going to be too warm for this swarm.

I rather get a "It's impossible! I'm invincible! Lucretia promised me UNLIMITED FREEZING POWER!!!" vibe. I guess we'll see soon if that big snowman is a warlock, or another one of Mommy Dearest's gullible/disposable tools.

And all the Wulfenbach troops are inoculated. Whether Albia can protect the English troops remains to be seen.

See, I interpreted it as "ALL the engines? But we were carting them toward somewhere else, and this will use them all up!" Funny how a few words can lend themselves to such different analyses.

I don't think the minions worry about strategy. They are not very bright, so far as I can tell (two word monosyllabic sentences for the most part). They are worried about continuing to exist.

The thing about being promised reminds me of Lucrezia. Something went majorly wrong to have her end up like she did, and some of what she's said implies that someone or something told her that something she was trying to do would be easy but misled her.

    Here, I believe?

There's a scene in the start of the 4th novel that possibly shows the creation of the Other. In that she is shown as being serenely confident that she's got it right up to the moment everything blows up, despite everyone warning her. I suspect that she was suffering from major over-confidence rather than being told it was easy.

Yeah, that was my take too. Less "I was promised this would be easy" and more "Per my calculations this should have been easy, and since my calculations (like me) are perfect, the fact it wasn't easy is GROSS INJUSTICE".

Since narcissists never make mistakes that means everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault - and those other people should have come and saved her, too.

Hmm, the engines were a bluff/diversion so he had time to regroup and regather himself after getting blindsided huh? Not bad. If you are gonna blow a trump card to take down the big bad, make sure you take him down before switching targets. Trump cards tend to have a limited shelf life. But then, ive been reading a lot of cultivation manhwas recently so I tend to see that sort of thing a lot. :p

In a war it doesn't matter who's right, only who's left.

    The Sneaky Gate is open
    Spoiler
    Show
Did Agatha just go full Thor on the Duke?

Also, I guess this kinda counts as Albia protecting the English troops...

(Comic's up now, do I still spoiler?)

Is that the Star she's using? Wonder how it factors in.
I'm pretty much the opposite of concise. If I fail to get to the point, please ask me and I'm happy to (attempt to) clarify.
