'Continuous launch on the my mark?' I think a typo made it into the dialogue.

Why has no Spark invented that? It seems very Sparky. Perhaps powered by feral hamsters running inside the wheel.

According to some online quiz, I'm a 6th level TN Wizard. They didn't give me full XP for all the monsters I've defeated while daydreaming.

Nobody in their right mind would want to ride that or walk the same corridors as those wicked machines would pass at insane speeds.
In a war it doesn't matter who's right, only who's left.

... so why hasn't a spark invented one, then?
Times being what they are, the stars aligning and the End of All Things barely registered as background noise.

At a bit of a loss as to what to do next, and with bills to pay, a certain Elder Thing has taken up bartending.

Indeed, the phrase "right mind" usually doesn't apply to Sparks at all.

Ah, I haven't read his Twitter account, good to know. The list Agatha goes through in your link doesn't say whether Othar actually took out the sparks involved -- only mentions their creations. Granted the spark-killing needed to be kept under wraps for the later reveal, and his mission is mostly interesting to the story for interactions with the (other?) main characters.

Huh. Now I wonder why I never noticed the similarities between Othar and The Other (well, name and killing opposed sparks, anyway). Probably because the personalities, goals, and story purposes are so different.
