Perform a search of the room. If it is mechanically any different he is looking for anything simply out of sight rather than truly secret or hidden. Doesn't want one of those ankle pokers just having moved behind the mirror or a halfling hiding under the bed.

Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves line the walls of this sprawling chamber. An ornate wooden table, covered with open texts and lit candles, and six chairs sit in the middle of the room. Would either of you mind if I hold onto them for now?" asks Moorgram as he gathers up her gear and prepares to escort her back to their companions downstairs. Moorgram opens the door. The scent of perfume fills the air of this small bedroom where several dresses styled for a Taldan noblewoman lie neatly arranged on the bed. A mirrored vanity and chair sit by the door next to a wooden chest, and a larger mirror hangs on the wall between two windows.

Turning around to look at you from her place by the mirror ... is the Lady Argentea Malassene!

    Begin Round One ...

R1T17: Not because Darkhelm was at the right angle to see anything, but more out of a slowly-earned training to move if the front-person/ breech-holder (i.e. Moorgram in this case) isn't moving, Darkhelm moves past Moorgram into the room, jumps up on the bed near the pillow by the northern wall, and then calls out while training her crossbow on the possible impostor, "We have a fake Lady Argentea in here! You, impostor, down on the ground."

R1T10: The faux-lady begins to rush forth towards Moorgram, but not before being shot in the lower left forearm by Darkhelm for 4. The faux-lady Argentea finishes her charge in a Taldan noblewoman's outfit and her fine manicured hands turn to claws that slams into his chain shirt. It might be a fake Lady Argentea, but it definitely seems to have her strength.

R1T9: Moorgram, you would have gone before her/ its charge, but you followed incorrect lines of possibility in your weird time-vision. You feel adrenaline or something as your muscles surge and bulge. What do you do?

R1T9: "A bedroom is meant for rest," Moorgram intones as he looks at the fake lady, and takes a step back tightening the grip on his axe and opening up some room to fight. But the fake lady has real grit and is unaffected by the attempt at a quick win on the axe wielder's part.

R1T8: On hearing there is a fake version of herself, Lady Argentea grits her teeth and steps into the void just created by Moorgram. "Flank her, Darkhelm!" she orders as she gets into a fighting stance and makes a special attack at her double. She soft crits the double in his belly for 24.

End Round One, Begin Round 2 ...

    R2T11:
Darkhelm brilliant somersaults off of the bed while taking out her shortsword and stabs Fake-Lady in her/its back upper left arm for 8.

R2T10: The Fake-Lady recovers from her initial charge and throws herself at her mirror, the real Lady. Lady Argentea fails to shield block one of the claws that formed on the woman and gets her face scratched for 11.

R2T9: Moorgram, you gave up your position, and now aren't likely to get into the fray. Your adrenaline continues to kick up, but this time it is less about power and more about reaction time and nerve conduction. What do you do?
