Server Too Busy?

I keep getting these error messages that tell me the server's too busy at the moment. Is it just me?

I also received a few about five minutes ago.

Yeah, I got it too. It seemed to resolve after a few minutes, but after the Great Downtime a few years back, errors like this always make me worry.

It was rough earlier, with long load times and occasional "Server too busy" messages.
It seems mostly better now?

I'll assume the mods have it well in hand, and use this post to express appreciation to the hard work of Roland St. Jude and all the rest who keep this site running. Thank you a ton!

I still have the terminally long load times. Had them for days, in fact. But the server didn't throw me out in a while, so STATUS QUO IS BACK! (Also, yeah, thank you folks who keep things running!)

EDIT: My optimism was expressed too hastily. I'm just back from another round of vBulletin Message.
