Default Playtest of Homebrew system: Which subforum?

Sort of a Campaign Journal I'm planning on writing, but without much (if any) of a story. Just Battle Reports.

Should this thread go in Roleplaying Games, or in Homebrew?
    You can call me Draz.

    Also of note:

I have a number of ongoing projects that I manically jump between to spend my free time ... so don't be surprised when I post a lot about something for a few days, then burn out and abandon it.
... yes, I need to be tested for ADHD.

What sort of feedback you are wanting will determine which forum you should put it in. While lots of people frequent both the homebrew and RPG games sections, lots of people only frequent one. Also, Homebrew has a rule that if you are updating the content of a homebrew thread the original creator can thread revive without needing pre-approval. (You still need to pay attention to other rules about double posting and spamming).

I am hesitant to give more advice since I am not a mod, but generally the mods say that if you are unsure where to put a thread to put it where you think it fits and if they think it doesn't, they will move it. I don't think anyone has ever gotten a warning (much less an infraction) for posting threads in the wrong place in good faith.

I would put it in the Roleplaying Game section. People don't go to the Homebrew forum to look for campaign logs.

I would do the campaign log itself in the Roleplaying section, but include a link in the opening post to the mechanical specifics of the Homebrew in the Homebrew section.

    Payren knows the way.
If there are going to be rules specific stuff I agree with both forums. As more of a roll (than role) player I like more strategic battle report kind of campaign journals. Sounds great! Good luck with however you go!

Sheriff: All well-said, especially the part about just putting a thread where you think it belongs and if it's out of place, we can move it.
