Imperium Maledictum (WH40kRP)
I just picked this up and have been perusing the pdf as I wait for the physical book to be released. It basically seems to be a Dark Heresy 3e with a more diverse set of patrons and rules based off of WFRP4e rather than 2e. It's certainly more to my tastes than Wrath & Glory is, and hits the right nostalgia points. I'm highly looking forward to running it once the book is out.
Also it looks to me like Cubicle 7 is dropping the last vestiges of the career system, I assumed that Origin, Faction, and Role would give Aptitudes but they seem to be entirely for character creation.
Anybody else got the pdf/pre-order?

Re: Imperium Maledictum (WH40kRP)
IM does seem even more changed than WFRP4e, but from what I can tell most of those changes are minor. Probably the most important I've noticed is that Toughness no longer subtracts frin damage, although armour values are about two higher than previous editions to compensate, and characteristics for humans now cap at 60 rather than 50/55.
On that note, having read more it really is Dark Heresy 3e, just with a name change due to a broader variety of patrons. I wouldn't be surprised if there's going to be a supplement allowing you to turn the game into Rogue Trader (especially with the CRPG coming out soon), but the closest in the corebook is 'several rungs down the latter of inheritance, but at least you can afford half a hellgun*'.
Starting PCs are very much frontline Guardsmen and the like, with suggestions given for a couple of 'you were an X in training but your Patron plucked you from that'. It's a nice system but I'd really like to see a couple of factions back in the first supplement (particularly the Adeptus Arbites). It's nice after Wrath & Glory leaned too much into the demigods and demigods+ (a.k.a. Space Marines and Primaries).
* which go for about two thousand... I'm AFB so I'm going to call them thrones.
