Re: Could Superman *thrive* in the Marvel Universe?
I called him a rando cause he ultimately was one. Sure, he was buds with Hulk's landlord for a while and was the go to guy to get him but as you admitted he didn't really show up much and after he died, I think he joined Uncle Ben in the "DO NOT REZ" pile of Marvel characters lol. He was the heart of the Hulk at one point, so much so that even though he didn't get Bruce to transmute him, Bruce DID donate enough money to keep that clinic open for decade.
Edit:.... You can certainly be an evil bugger, can't you? lolLast edited by HolyDraconus; Yesterday at 12:13 AM.

Re: Could Superman *thrive* in the Marvel Universe?
I don't think Clark would put up with Maddie's bull****.
Like, he'd be sympathetic to the fact that life screwed her over hard, but none of that excuses her actions and I don't think he;d be inclined to pretend it did.
"Wait... You tried to invade Manhattan with an army of demons, not for the first time, after being given a second chance at life and trusted with a great responsibility because you're upset that you didn't get to raise your son, who you tried to sacrifice to the devil to spite the husband who walked out on you?"
"Who I tried to sacrifice to a devil, yes."Last edited by Rater202; Yesterday at 12:51 AM.

Re: Could Superman *thrive* in the Marvel Universe?
so Maddie has 44 comic appearances from 1983 to 1989, 30 of them she is a spunky everyday person much like lois lane. on her 30th appearance she is tricked in a dream and a demon begins to infect her
note this is an entire reference to Greek Medea where in many versions of the story the lady from Asia / Colchis which is east of modern Turkey in Georgia. Well this foreign lady, this stranger, is manipulated by the Gods for they like and hate Jason.
so for 6 issues after that Maddie starts to gain powers (genosha is involved) and is tempted to do evil, and then the last 8 issues of the 44 are Inferno. So yeah you can see Maddie as the evil demonic goblin queen, but she is also more than that, and in the comics evil corruption is something that impacts dozens of other characters not just the red head, yet everyone remembers that one red head.
Since 1989 it is unclear how many issues Maddie has been in somewhere between like 45 more or a 100 more, for there also has been evil alternate universe Jean Greys and AU Maddie's who say they are A maddie, but retcons said they were AU characters (different Maddies) and thus we may have a few dozen comics not knowing if it's Maddie or mirror Universe Evil Maddie / Evil Jean Grey.
Regardless since 2020 we know for sure who Maddie is and she has been in about 30 issues of those 45 (or perhaps 100) with a consistent personality.
=====
*shrug* lots of words here but I can see Clark liking Maddie, no he will not support turning New York into a hell hole and sacrifice her kid liked Medea. Yet Clark totally understands telepathic mind control, evil magic, and demonic possession for it has impacted many of his allies and also himself.
Yes Clark never ever forgive his cousin Kara for being mind control by this demonic force called Darkseid
=====
Regardless it was blue text, and Maddie for 30 and change issues did not have any form of powers, she was a normal human much like Jimmy, Lois, and other people Clark is friends withLast edited by Ramza00; Yesterday at 02:31 AM.
