I honestly enjoy having had no awareness of either of these two theories.

EDIT: Wrecan is technically a Crusader so there's still some flexibility in each category anyway.

I think I'd heard the theory proposed before but I don't know if it gained much steam. (Kish says it wasn't proposed until long after Tarquin exited the comic.)

I've just assumed Tarquin was an Unspecified Warrior-Type Class with such powers as befits hits personality and character and the needs of the story.
