    Jessica dispels the darkness around them. Hyra seeks to strip the warlock's defensive spells, but fails, and her Celestial lands a shot (13 damage).
    Merry Dimension Doors himself and Jessica next to Goethe, and Lanius lands two more arrows from a distance.

    The warlock spreads his wings and flies away from Jessica. She strikes at him but misses.

    He flies north and east, and fires a glowing mote at Merry, who vanishes in a puff of sulphurous smoke. Four red-purple rays strike Jessica at the same time, blowing her off the platform. She falls to the ground below, and the bat-winged warlock dips down behind one of the stone pillars, hovering out of sight.

    Jessica doggedly climbs up the wall. Hyra leaps forwards, her boots helping her jump far more than most dwarfs can. The Celestial fires three arrows. Two go wide, and the last barely misses (I got a straight edge, looked at the map and definitions, and decided the warlock had 3/4ths cover from that angle).
    Lanius hops between pillars and readies an arrow for when the warlock reappears. He's still invisible, although his footsteps echo off the rocks as he runs and jumps repeatedly.

    The warlock stays low and gives an evil cackle as he flies a bit west and south, then points at an area a bit lower than one of the pillars. "Death and madness await!" He then flies low, sheltering from the abominable angel that is still hunting him.

    Magical darkness spreads from a point you choose within range to fill a 60-foot-radius sphere until the spell ends. The darkness spreads around corners. A creature with darkvision can’t see through this darkness. Nonmagical light, as well as light created by spells of 8th level or lower, can't illuminate the area. Shrieks, gibbering, and mad laughter can be heard within the sphere. Whenever a creature starts its turn in the sphere, it must make a Wisdom saving throw, taking 8d8 psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
    Note: Everyone has advantage on their save from Watcher's Will.

    Merry returns from the hells, taking 52 psychic damage (rolled previously).

    Merry has just not had a great fight thus far. Darkness (dispelled by Jessica), then a trip through hell he's going to have nightmares about for years, then darkness again (again dispelled by Jessica). It's all very confusing. But this time he thanks Jessica more sincerely than before.

    He moves over to the edge of the pillar, goes prone, and fires a Dispel of his own down at the warlock directly, hoping to get rid of the Crown of Stars at least, even if the wings look to be untouchable.

    Jessica sheathes her sword and dispels the spell, although not before it shatters the Death Ward protecting her. (Jessica is at 1hp). Hyra moves up, while the Celestial waits with drawn bow.
    After an exchange of counter-neutralizing abjurations, Merry successfully destroys the Crown of Stars and Foresight on the warlock.

    Lanius goes down to ground level and sneaks along.

    The warlock flies back up and fires four beams at Merry, knocking the wizard back and off the pillar. The Celestial's readied arrow misses. Goethe flies back down, cackling madly.

    I believe the ward stands at 16, and Merry has 9hp, unless that doesn't factor in Hyra's Healing Word; if that doesn't include the healing word, then at the end of this Merry only has 1 failed death save instead of 2.

    Jessica finishes climbing up, healing herself. Hyra hops her way closer, healing Merry, who stays prone and erects a warding globe. Lanius fire two arrows from below (hits for 35) and hides himself among the gloom.

    The warlock rises, and is struck by a glowing arrow from the celestial (hit for 16). He fires a glowing black ball that explodes in a tide of psychic energy that runs over Jessica and Hyra, then flies east.

    Lanius moves forwards and hides behind a pillar after shooting the illusion. Merry casts a warding spell and and moves forward. Hyra drops prone and dispels the illusion, which was holding a shortbow.

    An arrow flies at Merry from the ceiling around K5, and Merry and Jessica see someone translucent (invisible) run across the ceiling from right to left and around the corner in perfect silence. The celestial fires at the invisible halfling as they point it out, and scores a hit.
