    Before the battle began, Jessica cast Aid at third level on herself, Hyra and Merry and both See Invisibility and Shield of Faith on herself. She also activates her Watcher's Will and Boots of Speed.

    Move to D7 (takes 50ft of movement out of 60ft). If Jessica sees the rogue and can reach them, she will cast Branding Smite and attempt to hit them. If she cannot, she will maintain concentration on Shield of Faith and use the Dodge action.

    Branding Smite deals (2d6)[3] radiant damage on the first successful hit and the target, who becomes visible if they are invisible, and the target sheds dim light in a 5-foot radius and can’t become invisible until the spell ends.

    Attack #1 - To hit: (1d20+10)[26] or (1d20+10)[19] (disadvantage), to damage: (1d8+8)[15] slashing damage, plus (1d8)[3] radiant damage. If the attack lands, smite for an additional (3d8)[14] radiant damage.

    Jessica runs forward, but does not see anyone, even with her ability to see the invisible.
    Lanius climbs up one of the shafts to cover the top floor, an arrow at the ready.
    Merry readies a dispel.
    Hyra crawls forwards, ready to evade any attack. Her celestial is at the ready.

    Lucy pops down out of the northwestern shaft (apparently having been hidden within it) silently and moves across the ceiling, firing an arrow at Merry that punches through the wizard's neck. Only Hyra's warding keeps the wizard alive, and the prepared Dispel magic disperses to the winds in a burst of white light. The Celestial shoots back, but misses. The halfling then moves back out of view, dropping down the shaft to the bottom room and out of sight so quietly that you're not sure where she went.

He hears the suggestion from Lanius and retrieves the flask from his belt with the eversmoking bottle, and uncorks it. Very quickly a 60' cloud of smoke fills the entire area and begins flowing into the upper and lower rooms as well as it continues. Merry crawls towards Hyra so as to stay close in case the rogue reappears next to them, but stands again when he gets to her.

    Jessica crosses the main room, healing Merry as she goes. Lanius sets up an illusion while hiding on the wall of the southeast vertical shaft. Merry moves towards the middle of the room and fills the entire area with smoke. Now nobody can see without Blindsense. Hyra casts, the Celestial descends, and all is a dark fog.

    Suddenly, someone stabs Merry from the north with an explosion of thunder, then moves away with silent footsteps.

    Having set his trap, Lanius moved inside the fog, next to his companions, readying his bow for the next time the rogue came into range of his blindsight.
    But that didn't appear to be necessary, as he could make her out in the corner, trying to hide. At once he shot two arrows at her, hearing the satisfying double hit, then he hid again, pressing his advantage.

    Swamped by smoke, Hyra's spells are limited - but she has enough to help keep them up and alive, hopefully. Blindly she taps Merry on the shoulder with another healing spell, before shifting around to get closer to Lanius - hopefully the rogue didn't know that he, at least, could 'see' in the smoke.

    Lanius fires two arrows, both of which hit (Uncanny dodge used on first one). Merry summons a hand that tries to grab Lucy, but she dodges agilely. Hyra's Celestial fires three arrows at short range, all of which hit (14+10+19 = 43!).

    Lucy curses and steps forward to Lanius, whose location she can sense. She stabs at him, then moves away silently among the fog.

    She is not an unseen attacker, and can't see Lanius.

    Jessica readies an attack.
    Lanius climbs into a Rope Trick. The other two follow him.

    There's silence for a moment, then the rope twitches, and she's there, stabbing Merry with a flaming sword; fire jumps from the wizard to Hyra. She slashes at Lanius as he becomes visible, but he leans out of the way. With a defensive whirl, she drops out of the room, and you hear her footsteps move away, followed by the noise of a rushed landing and footsteps heading up a wall.

    With stealth, nobody hears her cross the ceiling, drop onto the rope, the flip up into the room until she's there - similar to how a stealth character can step around a corner to shoot.
    She doesn't come within 5' of Jessica, so the SW doesn't go off. The Celestial can shoot an arrow at her on the way out, but with disadvantage, it misses.

    Green Flame Blade vs Merry, with advantage for attacking from stealth.

    Lucy is in C31, the shaft going up to the upper room, in the shaft about 5' below the upper floor and 25' above the main floor.

    It's been a few months since Pelor revealed himself as the lord of Burning Hate. You've made it to the city of Geoff, in the Duchy of Geoff, and you are here to end the terror the High Priest Teopixki has brought on his foes. You step inside the temple. It's daylight-bright inside, a consequence of the Hallow spell which prevents Hyra's Celestial from entering.

    The spell doesn't keep out all extraplanar entitites, though. The door closes behind you as you enter, and you see a circular tear in reality close next to the priest. "Right on time as always. Gothmog, these are why I called you here." The balor who had just stepped through the gate smiles at you as it closes. The elderly priest behind him smiles benevolently.

    Merry dispels Death Ward and Freedom of Movement, then blinks out. Gothmog flares his fiery wings, leaping forwards and landing just a bit in front of most of the group. He slashes down at Lanius with a longsword crackling with lightning, while the tendrils of his whip try to wrap themselves around Hyra, but both attacks are dodged.

    One side of the wall, selected by you when you cast this spell, deals 5d8 fire damage to each creature that ends its turn within 10 feet of that side or inside the wall. A creature takes the same damage when it enters the wall for the first time on a turn or ends its turn there. The other side of the wall deals no damage.

    At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 4th.

    Radiant Bow (Avenger Only). Ranged Weapon Attack: +9, reach 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 2d6 + 2 + spell level radiant damage.
    Radiant Mace (Defender Only). Melee Weapon Attack: your spell attack modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d10 + 3 + the spell’s level radiant damage, and the celestial can choose itself or another creature it can see within 10 feet of the target. The chosen creature gains 1d10 temporary hit points.
    Healing Touch (1/Day). The celestial touches another creature. The target magically regains hit points equal to 2d8 + the spell’s level.
