Dinosaur Comics by Ryan North is an episodic series about three dinosaurs talking to each other. With the exception of a few early pages, all strips feature the exact same image with different words layered on top of them.

I'm making this thread because I do not understand the joke in today's page and I'm hoping someone else can explain it to me.

I don't get it either (not really a tea person) but from context it seems pretty obviously a thing you do with tea, and a quick search confirms that steeping is in fact a thing you do with tea.

Ah, I get it. Merriam-Webster has the explanation

to soak in a liquid at a temperature under the boiling point (as for softening, bleaching, or extracting an essence)

Steeping is something you to do a tea bag to get the tea into the water.
