Re: Past, present and future - fact+fiction webcomic
I can't help but wonder why there are few pictures of the asteroid belt...

Re: Past, present and future - fact+fiction webcomic
I'd agree that NASA or someone should be looking at the asteroids more, as in looking for one that might hit earth someday!
But there was a Near Earth Asteroid Reconnaissance mission years back that got excelleht pictures of the NEA named "Eros" and with a little searching you could find some good pics of it, it'll give you some asteroid ideas.

Re: Past, present and future - fact+fiction webcomic
Why does it seem ironic to me that an asteroid suspected by NASA of colliding with Earth was named "Eros"?

I think it was the part about the possibility of humanity being killed genocidally by a meteorite named after the Greek god of lust, love, and intercourse

maybe Eros is a fan of Gaia, and wants to kill it...so he will have it in his concience for ever....or something like that.

Re: Past, present and future - fact+fiction webcomic
I swear upon my grave, I will do one this weekend...actually, I swear, not on my grave (since I dont own one...and not planning on buying one in the near future). But the thing is, the last 2 weeks were mostly: copy 10-12 report notebooks, write about 140 different chemistry exercises, all of them crappy, and do 20 tehnical drawings of all kinds of crap. So, if my hands will ever heal, I will promise to keep going, and do a D&D comic too ! (yeah, wanted to start one in Anime style from last year, but it is soo hard to draw good...so that it does not look like **** on the fan, that I decided to do it OOTS style...the script itself is kinda all ready, I know the first 3 chapters and the ending...))
Edit: schedule is not 1 per week...on a random day I guess...I am too chaotic to respect a deadline unfortunately...Last edited by Bayar; 2008-01-17 at 07:48 AM.

TRAF Awards
SpoilerI fought The Mysterious Circle of Shadowy Chairs in Discworld I (Dei in Machina) till the end, won the game and survived and all I got is this lousy signature line.
Thanks Banjo1985 for Count Catula!

Re: Past, present and future - fact+fiction webcomic
I think it will take a lot more time than anticipated...making individual asteroids look INDIVIDUAL is not a task for the weak hearted. So, dunno when it will be ready, but to keep something from my promise...I present a preview of what's to come:

For some reason, I think the astroids should be brown.

Re: Past, present and future - fact+fiction webcomic
Well...it is a ****load harder than I thought...GOD ! why the hell did I even tried to do it ?
Yeah...think this will update when it will update...until then...some other stuff that I was working on:
I dont know if working on the female figure makes me a pervert...but I sure feel like one when I do...
Oh, and in case I will find doing this current comic too difficult, I could always finish the solar system and just move on...to something more with action, than just art and walls of text...
EDIT: And trying to come up with colors for clothes is a nightmare on it's ownLast edited by Bayar; 2008-01-25 at 09:27 AM.
