    Default Interesting magic item for a Bard who thinks they're a Cleric?

    A princess happens to owe the party now so we get to pick aome kind of low power +1 type magical item and probably get it no doubt after doing another quest for the princess.

    I was considering the Immovable Rod but it doesn't fit or not fit the character's theme of being cleric in training but really getting magic through being a Bard.

    Any ideas?

    How about an instrument of the bard? Fochlucan Bandore has a few nature themed spells. It combines the dancing and nature themes of Shiallia.
    Black text is for sarcasm, also sincerity. You'll just have to read between the lines and infer from context like an animal

    One could even re-skin the instrument, making it into a prayer book with hymns.
