Who's Excited About 4th Edition?

I know I am. Maybe it was careful subliminal messaging embedded in the preview book. Maybe it's the "spirit of the season." Or maybe it's that I loved Tome of Battle, I don't know.

But I do know that

I'm excited about 4th edition.

Who else is excited?

It's surely closer to every second day.

But yeah. So far I can dig it. I know I'm going to wind up killing two of its races and probably one class, but holistically, it sounds good.

It could be garbage, though, so I'm not putting my money down for it just yet.

Yeah man! I always get excited about new things. This might be a bit off topic but I do have a couple of questions about 4e

1) When does it come out

and 2) Where is everybody getting their info on it?

It comes out next ~~May~~ June.

The wizards website has tons of articles on what's upcoming for 4e

May?!?!?! I thought it came out in June!

Just goes to show how forgetful I am... Anyway, I'm excited and am going to get all the core books(probably more afterwards.)

Yup, core books for me.... since I've been playing entirely off my freinds copys and the internet for a couple of years, that'll be a big change

Everything in the core rules comes out June 6.

I'm about excited as I am about a tooth ache. I highly doubt 4E will live up to the hype (although I will probably go to a bookstore to look at them to double check) and if it doesn't I'm stickin' with 3.5E until I can't find a game (or 4.5/5E comes out and I like it).

I haven't seen any others, no.

I've seen threads asking will you or won't you adopt it, I've seen multiple threads completely trashing 4th edition, and I've seen threads announcing new content and insight into it's workings. But I haven't seen a thread to say "Hey, I'm excited about 4th edition." So I made one. I'm sorry if you think it's superfluous. I just wanted a place to say "hey, I'm excited," and not temper it with "Well, I dunno about this..."

To what Skywalker said: Yeah! What he said! Wooo! Actually, I almost always like to get new stuff, because, okay, say that it is crap, that doesn't mean that all of it is going to be, there has to be a diamond somewhere in the rough.
