Random 2nd Ed Question

I am no longer in possession of a 2nd Ed players' handbook (used to have 2 - not sure what happened to them), but I still have a lot of 2nd Ed adventured I am converting over to 3rd Ed as the need for them arises...

Just wondering, what was the basic effect of the spell "Divination"...?

Divination gives a "useful piece of advice" about a specific goal, event, or activity that will occur within one week. the advice has a 60% + 1%/priest level chance of being true. the caster will know if it fails unless other magic provides false information.

Thank you very much - I am bastardising Birthright rules in my game, and one of my characters can do divination 1/day... I've been bluffing my way through it so far, and this is along the lines of what I have been giving them anyway.
